Understanding Insights

The Insights section shows spending trends, anomaly detection, and financial health metrics. These features are available on BASIC and higher plans.

What You'll See

Spending trends: How your spending changes over time by category or account
Anomaly detection: Unusual transactions or patterns that may need attention
Financial health: A high-level view of your financial position
Insight summaries: Saved or generated insights for quick reference

For a ranked list of where you spend (by payee/description), use the dashboard Top merchants this month card or the Merchants tab on Transactions — see Merchant spend by payee.

Plan Requirements

Basic financial health is available on all tiers. Full insights, spending trends, and anomaly detection require BASIC or higher. If you don't see these options, see Plans and Feature Limits.

Getting the Most From Insights

Keep transactions and categories up to date for accurate trends
Review anomalies to catch errors or unexpected charges
Use insights alongside budgets and goals for better planning
