Managing Entities
Managing Entities
An entity represents a person, business, or project you track finances for. You can create multiple entities and switch between them; limits depend on your plan.
Create an Entity
- Use the entity switcher (top of the app) and choose "Create Entity" or go to the appropriate screen
- Enter a name (e.g. "My Personal Finances", "Acme LLC")
- Select the entity type: Personal, Business, or Project
- Save to start adding accounts and transactions for that entity
Switch Between Entities
Use the entity switcher dropdown to change the active entity. The dashboard, accounts, transactions, and reports will show data for the selected entity.
Entity Limits by Plan
FREE allows 1 entity; BASIC allows 3; PREMIUM and ENTERPRISE allow unlimited entities. If you can't add another entity, see Plans and Feature Limits to upgrade.
Edit or Remove an Entity
Use the entity settings or edit option from the switcher to change the name or type. Removing an entity may require that it has no accounts or data, or that you confirm deletion.
